Zac Brown Band has been chosen to perform the pre-race concert for the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 24th.  Zac says they haven’t designed a set list for the show yet but he tells the AP, “It would have to be up-tempo, rockin’, tryin’ to get everybody pumped up for the race.”  Two of the songs from their mini-concert will be broadcast live prior to the race, which starts at 1pm ET on FOX.  Zac Brown Band member Clay Cook will also perform the National Anthem solo before the race.

Prior to heading to Daytona, ZBB will head to Los Angeles to attend the GRAMMY awards on February 10th, where their album, Uncaged, is nominated for Best Country Album.  Speaking candidly, Zac says, “It’s the awards show. It is the one.  The other ones, there’s a lot of politics, in my opinion. This one is legitimately chosen by your peers as an artist. I think you’re judged by your music at the Grammys.”
