If you ever meet Miranda Lambert don’t call her CMA Award for Song of the Year “cute.” She was hanging out with Blake Shelton last night on the set of The Voice and she tweeted, “Some gal backstage just said “congrats on song of the year, that’s so cute”… What? How about bad ass, amazing..I got something “cute”4 u.:)” It must have really bothered her because 20 minutes later she tweeted, “Cute is a word 4 kids & puppies! Amazing & thankful are a few words I would use to describe a moment like winning for “Over You”.
Last night all of the teams on The Voice had to be whittled down from five contestants to three. America voted for two and the judges each had one save. It was obviously disappointing for the contestants who were voted off, but Miranda had some words of encouragement for them. She tweeted, “Congrats everyone on @NBCTheVoice who made it through tonight! And to those who didn’t, remember I got third on a show and I’m doin ok!”
Miranda headed back to Oklahoma last night, where she will celebrate her 29th birthday tomorrow.
