Miranda Lambert has begun charging fans $100 to take a picture with her, but it’s only in a certain place and for a very good cause. Apparently so many fans have been asking to have their picture taken with her when she’s working in The Pink Pistol, her store in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, that she wasn’t being able to get any work done. She told Country Weekly, “I’m always torn: I want to be accessible and all that, but when I’m at the store, I’m actually working. I’m constantly moving merchandise and working the soda fountain, and if I get stopped and asked for a picture, it’d go crazy if I did everybody.” So she came up with the idea to charge people $100 per picture to perhaps cut down on the volume a little bit, but more importantly, to raise money for her MuttNation Foundation. “Now,” she says, “I can do pictures and meet fans and also raise money for my doggies. So it works out good.” She wants to be very clear, 100% of the proceeds from all pictures go to the foundation. So far she says she’s raised $2,500 just by taking pictures with fans in the store.
