Lady Antebellum’s new single, “Downtown,” has become the highest debut in their career, landing at #25 on the Billboard Country Singles chart and #34 on Mediabase.  For Charles, Hillary and Dave, the reception validates their desire to step outside of the box a little and come with a fresh, exciting new sound on their next album.  “We really wanted to come out of the box on this album with some tempo and something with a little attitude,” says Charles.  “There are a lot of really driving sounds on the new record, and we’re excited for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on…we are calling it our roll down the windows record. All the support we’re getting from our friends at radio is firing us up!”

Lady Antebellum will stick around Los Angeles today to film an episode of CMT Crossroads with Stevie Nicks today.  An air date will be announced at a later time.
