College Football bowl season is underway, and several country stars will be performing in conjunction with several bowl games:
On December 27th Lady Antebellum will perform at the pre-game FanFest just outside of Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte before the University of Cincinnati faces off with Duke in the 11th annual Belk Bowl.
On New Year’s Eve look for Lee Brice to perform the halftime show at the Hyundai Sun Bowl in El Paso. That game and Lee’s performance will be broadcast on CBS.
On New Year’s Day Jake Owen will provide the halftime entertainment for the Discover Orange Bowl between Northern Illinois and Florida State at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium, which will be broadcast on ESPN. Florida Georgia Line will headline the Bud Light Orange Bowl Game Day Fan Zone before the game. Also on New Year’s Day, Dierks Bentley will perform a pre-game concert down in Orlando before Georgia takes on Nebraska in the Capitol One Bowl.
When Alabama takes on Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game on January 7th in Miami, country music will be well represented. Luke Bryan will headline the annual Bud Light Championship Game Day Fan Zone event on a stage just outside Sun Life Stadium, and Dierks Bentley will also be playing a pre-game show in Miami.
