Lady Antebellum have taken one of their favorite pastimes and turned it into a fundraiser called PING PONG & SONGS, for their LadyAID charity effort, which supports children’s causes locally, nationally and globally. Known for always having a ping pong table set up backstage when they’re on the road, and often hosting tournaments among the band and crew, they thought it would be fun to stage an actual ping pong tournament and an in-the-round style songwriters’ night, which will take place at Ensworth High School in Nashville on March 23rd.
“This is really a dream day for us…getting friends and fans together to play ping pong, play music and raise money for LadyAID,” said Dave Haywood. “Charles and I…better known as ‘The Dynasty’…will challenge anyone who wants to try and take us at the table! It’s going to be a total blast.”
Tickets to either participate in the tournament or just to be a spectator go on sale February 15th through LadyAID.org. For more information about PING PONG & SONGS click here.
