Kip Moore will play his final two shows on Eric Church’s Blood Sweat & Beers Tour this weekend, and tonight’s performance in Jacksonville will be a pretty big deal for him.  Several of Kip’s family members will be at the show, and he says the last time they saw him play was at a club in Atlanta, when his song “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” had just made the top 20 on the charts.  Interestingly, unless Kip’s family has been keeping their own tabs on him and watching his career, they may have no idea what they’re about to witness tonight.  Kip says, “My family has an interesting dynamic. I have kind of kept my career quiet, and I have never talked about what I’ve done.”  He says the only way they knew he was having any kind of success is because, “all of a sudden they started seeing me on TV and hearing me on the radio. It was kind of like ‘wait a minute,’ it kind of took them all by surprise, because I never talked about it really. I am kind of that way anyway. I am kind of just private and quiet about what I’m doing. I always felt like if it was good enough and working then they would find out anyway, So, I’ll be a little nervous with them in the crowd.”
