Kellie Pickler’s 100 Proof Named Rolling Stone’s Top Country Album of 2012

Rolling Stone has named their top country albums for 2012 and Kellie Pickler’s 100 Proof topped their list.  They called it “the best traditionalist album of the year,” stating, “Pickler wraps her big, lustrous voice around old-fashioned honky tonk, rollicking road stories and big ballads, all produced with a perfect balance of throwback twang and contemporary sheen.”  The rest of their top five country albums of the year were Jamey Johnson’s Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran, Lionel Richie’s Tuskegee, Beer for Breakfast from JB and the Moonshine Band and Easton Corbin’s All Over the Road.
