Normally while Carrie Underwood is out on her tour, her husband, Mike Fisher would be busy playing for the Nashville Predators in the NHL, but since the lockout has pre-empted the hockey season so far, Carrie admits it’s kind of thrown things off in their world. “I schedule my whole tour around him,” she tells Country Weekly. “I’m like, ‘You’re going to be gone anyway, so I’ll go out and tour this fall.’ And now he’s home, and I’m not.” While she loves touring she’s a little jealous of Mike’s extended time off. “I find myself going, ‘I’m working! What did you do today?’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, golf,’” she says. But Mike doesn’t want people to think he just sits around doing nothing since he’s not playing hockey. “I work out. My job ends about noon once I’m done working out and skating. But hopefully we’ll be back here soon. I miss it.” Unfortunately the NHL just announced that they would be cancelling all games through December 30th while discussions are ongoing to try to end the lockout.
