Jason Aldean has enjoyed a lot of success in the past year with several number one hits including “She’s Country,” “Big Green Tractor” and “The Truth,” great record sales and a successful headlining tour and he’s glad that his success has come over time and not just all at once. He’s had some moderate success since he started his career, but he feels it hasn’t been instant and he’s thankful for that. “My theory on that is this: If you start out on top of the mountain, you really don’t have anywhere else to climb,” he tells The Grand Rapids Press. “It’s great (to have initial success), but sometimes it’s only great for a couple years and it goes away because you really don’t have any room to get any bigger sometimes.” He’s hoping to continue the climb when he releases his fourth studio album, My Kinda Party, on November 2nd.
