The nominees for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced this morning and Eric Church was the leader with seven nominations, including a double nomination in the Song of the Year category as both the artist and the producer. If you count his New Male Vocalist nomination and double nominations in the Single and Song of the Year categories, Hunter Hayes picked up six nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift who earned five and Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves and Little Big Town who each received four nominations.
The Entertainer of the Year nominees include Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift and fans will vote for the winner in this category as well as the overall New Artist Award, which is between Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer and Florida Georgia Line. Fan voting will begin March 25th on voteACM.com.
The ACM Awards will be co-hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan and will aire live from Las Vegas on April 7th on CBS.
