Several country stars, including Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw have all been nominated for World Music Awards. The international music awards ceremony honors the “World’s Best Selling Recording Artists,” as determined by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), in categories voted on by fans. The awards will take place on December 22nd at Marlins Park Stadium in Miami and will be broadcast to North and South America, all of Europe, the Middle East, Japan and Southeast Asia, all of China, some other parts of Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and all of Africa reaching an estimated worldwide audience of around one billion viewers, in over 160 countries.
