If you ever see Taylor Swift out in public, look closely and you will also see at least one, if not two security guards in her midst. Taylor admits that they are a necessity since she’s had issues with stalkers and other people who might want to do her harm. She recently told British Cosmopolitan, “I get nervous when I have stalker incidents…Sometimes you get a dude who kind of wants to steal you. That’s why I’m so grateful I have people looking after me.” While it’s unpleasant, it’s a fact of life for her but she says, “My security text me a picture and say, ‘Look out for this dude; he’s driven across the country, he’s off his meds,’ or something like that.” Fortunately Taylor says, “No one has ever been successful in getting into my house or anything like that. I have an amazing security team.” But just like giving up a bit of personal privacy to have the career she has, Taylor also says, “It’s something you just have to deal with. It’s the price you pay for getting to do what you love. You can let it take over your life and make you fearful all the time, or you can live your life in spite of it.”
