Brantley Gilbert
Brantley Gilbert’s latest single, “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” which just became his second #1 song, was written after a bad break-up with a former flame, and he tells Taste of Country Nights that for now he is single. He says, “I am eligible. I’m as single as it gets.” Like a lot of single artists Brantley isn’t opposed to trying to find love, but because his schedule these days is so demanding he says, “I just kind of roll with the punches right now. Not really looking, not not looking if that makes sense. I’m working real hard right now. I’m on the road and I’m touring, and I think to be as fair to me and somebody else as possible, I don’t know if it’d be the best thing in my life right now.” Brantley jokes that he’s open to starting a relationship because “every time one of those things ends I get a great song out of it.” He doesn’t really have a personality type because he’s dated very outgoing girls and shy girls, but he says at this point, the most important thing he would look for is someone who’s interested in meeting him and not “the guy that is in the magazines, and on the radio stations and on TV and stuff.”
