Detroit Lions’ coach Jim Schwartz is a huge country music fan and he has come up with a unique way to combine his football responsibilities with his love of music. On August 5th the Detroit Lions will host their annual open practice at Ford Field, and afterward Randy Houser will play a live concert for the fans in attendance. Coach Schwartz told the Detroit News, “I’m a Randy Houser fan, but missed him the last time he came through town. I am thrilled he is going to be the headliner for our first event,” which is being called the inaugural Coach’s Kickoff. Tickets for the event will go on sale through Ticketmaster this Friday at 10am CT.
